My name is Fiona and I love to make things. My intention with this blog is to show far-flung friends and family what I have been up to, from sewing, cooking and baking to projects around the house. If other people choose to pop in and read – yay!
I make a wide variety of items, some of which I sell, some I make as gifts and some are additions to my collection of aprons, bags etc. I don’t have a niche, I just make what I fancy making.
I am sincerely grateful to my husband for sacrificing our proposed barbecue kitchen / wet bar area to make me a little studio. His support, encouragement and understanding have allowed me to explore and develop my creative side and given me a hugely rewarding and satisfying “hobby”. I am also fortunate that I am able to do this because I love it. It is my working-from-home job, but the family comes first and I work when the children sleep!
